I know now what I knew then but I didn’t know then what I know now.

Today marks 11 months since I got arrested (August 27th. ) To commemorate and countdown to such a special time in my life (that’s some sad people sarcasm), I’ve decided to start a 4 part series about the experience.

They say God laughs whenever you make plans, but here are my plans for how I’d like to execute this.

Part I: The Arrival
Part II: The Release
Part III: The Arrest
Part IV: The Charges

This is all out of order, and I don’t really care. I put the charges last because that’s going to be a really emotional thing for me to write and so I’m going to put it off as long as I can because I’m still in shock, honestly. The whole thing was pretty traumatizing if I’m being totally honest. I’m hoping that by writing this series, it’ll be some therapy for me to finally move on from this experience.

Stay tuned next week for Part I: The Arrival.
